D A V I D F L O R E S
Born and raised in San José - Costa Rica, Flores received a scholarship to attend Marymount Manhattan College in New York City. He graduated in 2015 with a BFA in Dance and received the Golden Key award for modern dance, a prestigious University accolade in recognition of outstanding achievements in dance. During his college career, Flores performed works by Aszure Barton, Dwight Rhoden, Lar Lubovich, Doug Varone, Loni Landon, Chase Brock and other world-renowned choreographers.
In 2013, he had the opportunity to perform for Nokolais Dance Theater in the First Yunnan Kunming Yang Liping International Dance Festival in Beijing and Kunming, China. He attended Springboard Danse Montreal.
In 2014 and 2015 were he worked closely with and performed works by Fernando Melo, RUBBERBANDance Group, MADBOOTS DANCE and Banning Bouldin. After graduating Marymount Manhattan College, Flores performed for Loni Landon Dance Projects and shortly after became a member of Catapult Entertainment; a dance company with which he toured through Germany, France, Lithuania and the United States.
David joined New Dialect in August 2016.
